RO Weekly League Season One – Week One Round Up

Twenty-eight players kicked off the first Rogue Outpost League last week. In these round ups I’ll be giving a very quick breakdown of the factions used and pointing out any interesting lists (to me at least).

The theme of week one was ‘Your list must include Proton Torpedoes’, not Advanced Proton Torps as some of the league players wanted. You had to spend those twelve points! Lets check out the faction split.

A decent split this week with all factions being represented. The Rebels came out ahead with 8 lists, not surprising. They were followed by the Empire, Republic, Scum and Resistance all with 4 lists. Seps and First Order rounded things out with 2 lists a piece.

When it comes to Rebels we see a lot of Wedge and Dutch, which makes perfect sense when thinking of the criteria. It’s good to see the Gunboat with Major Vynder turning up as we don’t see a lot of it generally. Poe and some Republic Y-Wings showed up too.

The star of this week though has to be Luc’s Scum list.

Scyk’s have become very relevant recently and this might be why. The ability to take four of them with Proton Torps equals a hell of a lot of firepower for 37 points. Having the points to fit in two Z-95’s with tracers boosts the potential of those torps massively. Plus I like the addition of Deadman’s Switch for some spiciness.

Until next week, pilots! If you’d like to get involved with choosing the articles I write here and support Rogue Outpost you can find my Patreon here.
