RO Weekly League Season Two – Week One Round-Up

Thirty-eight players kicked off the second season of the Rogue Outpost League last week. In these round-ups, I’ll be giving a very quick breakdown of the factions used and pointing out any interesting lists (to me at least).

The theme of week one was ‘Your list must include one I6 pilot and at least four generic pilots’. Let’s check out the faction split.

After the first few games I thought the Empire was gonna run away with it but it evened out in the end with nine Imperial squads, eight each for the First Order and Republic, six Rebel, four Scum, three Separatists and two Resistance.

So many Interceptors!! And RZ-1 A-Wings and TIE/fo Fighters and V-Wings, all to be expected. There were some Fireballs, Aggressors and Bombers too. When it comes to the I6 pilots there were a good number of Ciena Ree, Hera, Wedge and Poe.

The list that jumped out for me in week one was Ben’s Rebel list, it has nothing to do with me being a Rebel I promise…

REBEL ALLIANCE (198)

Wedge Antilles T-65 X-wing (64)
Swarm Tactics + R2 Astromech + Servomotor S-foils
Red Squadron Veteran T-65 X-wing (43)
Swarm Tactics + Servomotor S-foils
Red Squadron Veteran T-65 X-wing (43)
Swarm Tactics + Servomotor S-foils
Bandit Squadron Pilot Z-95-AF4 Headhunter (24)
XX-23 S-Thread Tracers
Bandit Squadron Pilot Z-95-AF4 Headhunter (24)
XX-23 S-Thread Tracers

It’s a nice mixture of Zed and T-65 and a good use of Swarm Tactics, bumping all but one of the five ships to I6. Thread Tracers on the Zeds also help out the X-Wings, making their big guns much more consistent.

Here’s the top ten after week one with my local Bandit Squadron starting strong.

Until next week, pilots! If you’d like to get involved with choosing the articles I write here and support Rogue Outpost you can find my Patreon here.
