RO Weekly League Season Two – Week Six Round-Up

In these round-ups, I’ll be giving a very quick breakdown of the factions used and pointing out any interesting lists (to me at least).

The theme of week six was ‘Using the YASB ‘Multi-faction’ option, your list must include ships from at least two factions.‘. Much like Season One, I wanted to go a bit crazy with the last week’s theme so multi-faction jank it is. Cue everyone trying to find the jankiest combos they can find…or just change one ship from a list they’re already using…

I can’t show you a faction split as TabelTop TO can’t deal with it! Instead, I’ll show you the lists Rob and Ky flew in their deciding final game.

Ky Gurasz

Rey (68)
Korr Sella (6)
Finn (9)
Rey’s Millennium Falcon (2)

Ship Total: 85 Half Points: 43 Threshold: 6

Dash Rendar (85)
Trick Shot (4)
Kanan Jarrus (12)
Outrider (14)

Ship Total: 115 Half Points: 58 Threshold: 5

Total: 200

I saw Ky’s list and thought ‘Someone wants to do big damage fast!’. Both Rey and Dash can throw a lot of dice, but they could be in trouble if they get into a corner.

Rob Carr

Commander Malarus (Xi Shuttle) (45)
Agent Terex (7)

Ship total: 52 Half Points: 26 Threshold: 4

Sienar-Jaemus Engineer (48)
Ship total: 48 Half Points: 24 Threshold: 3

Sienar-Jaemus Engineer (48)
Ship total: 48 Half Points: 24 Threshold: 3

Black Sun Enforcer (45)
Ship total: 45 Half Points: 23 Threshold: 3

Total: 193

As you can see, Rob took a simple route and picked a list he was already flying but swapped out the third Silencer for a StarViper. Still three red dice, still three green dice.

Below are the final standings after six games. Rob managed to win out against Ky at the end (the video of this game will be uploaded to YouTube soon) so he went 6-0 and won the league! As happens a lot of the time, Ky dropped to a still very respectable fifth. with Martin of Sith Takers fame coming second and then brothers James and Ben coming third and fourth respectively. Being part of Bandit Squadron myself it’s great to see three of my squadmates in the top four with the other Bandits giving good accounts of themselves too.

But what did they win I hear you say? As the winner, Rob wins a Heralds of Hope Squadron Pack courtesy of Chaos Cards along with a plethora of other goodies. Martin wins a double-sided metal Jango Feet card from Louis Leong. Everyone will receive an RO Wedge anniversary card, a special Blue Squadron T-65 card from Can’t Sleep Must Paint, and a random official alt-art.

Rob Nixon will be getting a little extra something for being a great sport the whole way through, thanks, Rob! Also my friends Ben and Luc will be getting more goodies too for being super helpful and helping me record games for YouTube. I haven’t even mentioned the many other prizes, including tokens from Buy The Same Token, LEGO-themed pilots and upgrades from Geoff Sanders and Luc and even my old ‘starwarsxwing’ template set!

That’s Season Two done! If you’d like to support Rogue Outpost you can find my Patreon here. If you join the Rogue Lieutenant tier you get automatic entry to all RO leagues and tournaments!

On a completely different note, my brother Chris has been reviewing films, comics, and anything else he likes for 9 years today! Well done Baz, very proud of you for sticking at it. If you like non-spoiler reviews then go check out his website and give him a follow on Twitter, he would really appreciate it.

Season Three will start in October, once my wife and I have got used to having a second child! Keep your eyes peeled as I’ll have some cool and very different prizes.
